The personalized jewelry discussion begins, and custom design ideas are refined. The way we start a custom jewelry design process is through communication with the customer. We ask many questions about likes and dislikes, colors they wear, metal preference, whether the piece will be for every day or special occassions, etc. We encourage our customers to bring photos that represent their thoughts, so that we get an idea of their style preference. There are so many custom jewelry design options available.

The second visit is all about interpretation and we show the customer hand-drawn images. The custom jewelry images are drawn by Alan Kasson or Michael Kasson with colored pencils and are very exact . We provide several options until the customer says “that is it”.

There are 3 ways to proceed.

A wax model of your personalized jewelry can be produced. It is an exact replica of the piece of jewelry in wax form.

A CAD (Computer Automated Design) of the finished ring can be produced for visualization

Based on the drawings a hand fabrication process can begin

Based upon which design process was used, we now start assembling the piece by setting stones and personalizing touches to the design.

Before the item is presented a lot of filing polishing, and hand finishing takes place. The finishing is very time consuming and very important because we strive for perfection.

The creative process is developed before your eyes and its done meticulously and with great care.
